Le Passage: Einstein’s Letter

“All it took was one misplaced sledgehammer blow.
We had set out to turn this place into a bar, but as soon as the work started, everything went wrong. Or rather, it went through.
We knocked down a wall by mistake, opening a breach towards mysterious galleries. Many things remained to be discovered beyond the Passage.
At the very end of one gallery, we discovered a strange machine. Through a disturbing video, its creator asked us to complete his mission: start his machine and go back in time to change the course of history.”

Elected 45th best game worldwide by the Top Escape Room Project (TERPECA) 2019, this escape game does not disappoint. All your actions will make sense in this mission, which contains one of the most perplexing wahoo effect I’ve ever seen!

Immersion 5,0 stars
  • Several very different atmospheres that are unified in the same game in a very coherent fashion.
  • A very well-thought scenario.
  • A wahoo effect that will make you wonder if the laws of physics were just violated!
Puzzles 5,0 stars
  • Manipulations and riddles very coherently integrated in the story.
  • A very original manipulation in the second room.
  • The duration of the various steps is adapted to the progression of the group, for a maximum of pressure.
Hosting 5,0 stars
  • A very realist briefing.
  • The clues were given at a perfect timing.
  • A lot of time was invested in the very high-quality debriefing.
  • The humor of the gamemaster.

Performance: We exited the room in 63 minutes, having used a few hints.

Difficulty: The difficulty of the room is intermediate, but the length of several steps is adaptable to the performance of the team.

At the same venue: They just opened a new room named “Archeological remains?”.

Elsewhere in the escape galaxy: If you like this kind of unsettling atmosphere, you should also like Room 113 at Artimus in Paris and The Prime Artifact in Clichy.

In French: You can read a review of this room in French by our colleagues from experienceimmersive.fr here.
