Embark on a journey through Chinatown’s tumultuous landscape, where your Clan’s feud with the ruling Triad sets the stage for your initiation rite. Amidst the evocative atmosphere of 1970s and simple but well-crafted set design, each step forward brings you closer to your destiny of finding the legendary egg. Guided by thematic communication devices and progressive lighting changes, the path is fraught with difficult searching and classical puzzles. Among the abundance of padlocks and codes, the adept guidance of the Game Master ensured a pleasant experience.

This was our final adventure at Crack the Egg, which we played in reverse order. We finally cracked open the mythical egg and uncovered its astounding secret! Will you join us among the initiated?

  • Enjoyable additional final puzzle to crack the egg

  • A puzzle that could have been solved with less hints than the ones provided, causing some confusion.

  • The gamemaster effectively guided and enhanced our gaming experience.

Performance: Our team of three solved the main quest in 48’34’’ and found the egg shortly after in 50’20’’.

Difficulty: In my experience, this was by a slight margin (before Tychsen) the easiest of the three historic scenarios at Crack the Egg.

At the same venue: If you want to crack the egg open, you will need to come back and solve The Unsettling Professor Tychsen and The Shelter!

Elsewhere in the escape galaxy: The 1970s environment reminded me a bit of Revolt at the Lock Academy, located in Paris too.
